High-frequency Spot Generator from Tantec
The pre-treatment of plastics before coating, bonding or printing is aimed at improving adhesion. Pretreatment is often required so that enhanced wettability and optimum adhesion of the coating are achieved.

The SpotTEC offered by Tantec permits simple pre-treatment of surfaces for three-dimensional moulded or
extruded plastic parts, profiles, etc. with low investment and running costs.

The SpotTEC is based on the principle of high-voltage discharge in the highfrequency area. A blower presses
the discharge, which is established between the two electrodes integrated in the discharge head, against the substrate to be treated, thus obviating the need for a counter electrode. The SpotTEC can be integrated easily and quickly in new or existing pro- duction lines.

The system is available with a single or double electrode head; other versions are available on request.

The SpotTEC complies with the CE requirements and EMC regulation.
